String spread is the distance between the centers of the outer strings on a bridge or tailpiece. Saddle radius determines the arc formed by all the individual saddle heights, and is similar to the measurement of a fretboard. Stud/post spacing is the distance between the centers of the mounting posts of a bridge or 'stop' tailpiece.
I've simply got to the set up phase of an Ex1, and discovered that the bridge spacing center to center is certainly 74mmichael, but the entire body is drilled for 72mmichael, center to centre.
I've appeared online and bridges just about all seem to end up being regular 74mm size.
I'm not really inclined to need to destroy my sonic azure nitro finish by filling up the holes and redrilling for brand-new post openings. It would end up being less difficult to begin over with a new body.
A thought has been to ? drill down out the article openings in the bridge itself, 1mm on each posting nearer to center, leaving oblong slots rather of circular openings.
I can work around almost all stuff, but this has me filled.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Colin
